We currently have a vacancy for an experienced tractor driver and machinery operator who also has livestock management skills. We have a wide range of arable, grassland and vegetable machinery and tractors from 35 to 160 hp. The successful applicant will have experience in operating and maintaining these as well as skills in the management of beef cattle. The role will also involve other work around these two main tasks, which is likely to involve; fencing, hedging, building construction or maintenance of existing farm property. A flexible approach to work is needed as occasionally longer working hours will be required during busy periods and tasks may change frequently during the working day. Wage negotiable according to experience. Either temporary or permanent accommodation is available.

Grower:

The position of full time Grower has become available. We are looking for someone with several years experience in this role who can manage the production of a wide range of vegetable crops for our direct sales outlets. The successful applicant must have good technical skills and be able to operate a range of machinery.

The position requires a hard working, self-motivated, reliable person with good attention to detail, who could work either in a team or individually.

You will liaise with your team supervisor and the harvest manager on a daily basis to organise the production and harvesting of crops at optimal times. You will need to plan and implement a cropping program that will deliver continuity of supply (wherever possible) for our market stalls, box scheme and wholesale outlets. Good organisational, machinery, computer and management skills are required. Wage negotiable according to experience. Either temporary or permanent accommodation is available.

Drivers for the London farmers markets. Weekend work either Saturday or Sunday or both on a regular and ongoing basis. Ideally someone who has clean license and knows the area and the traffic well. Suit someone with a sociable manner who can communicate well with both market staff and customers. Please contact Patrick for more details.

Sales People Weekend sales staff for farmers markets starting June. Ideal opportunity for sociable, food loving individuals to sell the farms fresh vegetables direct to customers. Good rate of pay and commission available for committed individuals who are prepared to take on the running of a stall throughout the year. Must be able to maintain and increase loyal customer support, and represent the farm to the public. The job involves van driving into central London on 50/51 days of the year. Must have clean license and be able to supply references.
